The APS Workshop
Set on a modern industrial estate in the Northamptonshire town of Brackley, we are located just a few miles off junction 10 of the M40 and junction 15A of the M1. Not far from us is the home of British Formula One, the Silverstone GP circuit.
APS was founded in January 2006 and operates from a 3000 square foot premises which has recently undergone extensive modernisation. This makeover included the installation of a 3 ramp workshop, engine build room and reception/showroom with upstairs office. We have main dealer trained staff with over 40 years of experience between them.
At APS we offer bespoke tuning upgrades for most Volkswagen Audi Group and Porsche cars as well as servicing and fault finding for these vehicles. For a selection of the most popular vehicles we cover, please see our Packages page on this website.

Main Dealer Spec Systems
We are registered with VAG UK and therefore use the VAS 5052 diagnostic system (in addition to VAG-COM) which receives the very latest updates.
The VAS 5052 allows us to communicate with every aspect of the modern VAG car electronic system. In addition to this we are then entitled to VAG technical support where required.
Our latest Porsche test equipment enables us to communicate and gather data for servicing, fault finding or for power increases.
For parts and service work we are registered to use the main dealer spec program ETOS which links us to our local Audi parts centre for efficient and prompt delivery of original equipment parts.

Genuine Beissbarth 4WA
APS are able to offer four wheel alignment checks and adjustments using the very accurate main dealer spec Beissbarth 1813F alignment system as used for professional measurement in line with demands set by the automobile industry with original VAG test routines.
We regularly receive software updates enabling us to cater for all the latest VAG and Porsche cars. For fast road, trackday and race car applications we can also offer corner weight setup and measurements for individual requirements.
The Beissbarth system allows us to:
At front axle:
- Toe-in (Single and overall toe-in, in relation to the geometric driving axis)
- Camber (When driving straight ahead, or aero toe-in)
- Caster. Inclination and toe-out on turns. (Measured together using a steering lock routine)
At rear axle:
- Toe-in (Individual and overall toe in, in relation to central longitudinal plane of the vehicle)

Air Con Re-gassing
APS are able to re-gas your car’s air conditioning system as well as carry out leak and diagnostic checks to ensure correct operation. This is a fully automated system and we suggest that this is carried out every three years.
