Superchips Bluefin at APS

The Superchips Bluefin hand held 'plug 'n' go' ECU remapping device is now available from APS of Brackley, which offers the potential for power gains of 20% on turbo petrol and 30% on turbo diesel cars at a highly affordable cost.

Bluefin is developed by world leading British based ECU remapping specialist Superchips, the official remapping partner of Volkswagen Racing UK. Superchips has worked closely with APS of Brackley to provide a product optimised to the high standards that you'd expect from us.

Operating the Bluefin requires no mechanical or electronics knowledge, as you simply purchase the unit and then plug it into your car's OBD port (usually located under the dashboard.)

The next step is to install the Bluefin CD-Rom onto your PC, disconnect the Bluefin handset from your car and connect it to your computer's USB port. Once you've filled in your contact details and pressed 'Connect' this will register your Bluefin and upload your original vehicle's data. Superchips will then create an ECU remap specifically for your car – which you'll be altered to within 8 hours, by means of text message and e-mail.

Then simply reconnect the Bluefin unit to your PC, so that you can download the Superchips ECU remap directly onto your handset. Once this process is complete, you plug the Bluefin unit back into your vehicle's OBD port and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Bluefin is the world's market leading ECU remapping tool, yet it's also much more – because on several models it offers users the ability to display and log data from your car, including boost pressure, oil temperature, oil pressure, water temperature, plus a range of other sensor outputs.
